Technical Trainer/Supervisor

Job Description


DAPP Malawi in partnership with VALE Logistics Limited and CEAR will implement a one year capacity building project in areas of vocational skills training among households along Kachasu - Nayuchi railway line (covering five districts of Machinga, Balaka, Mwanza, Neno and Chikwawa) with an aim of improving the socio-economic and environmental conditions of the population under the influence of operations, through a set of actions that guarantee income generation in order to raise their quality of life and the sustainability of communities. The trainings will be carried out through an outreach program.

DAPP Malawi therefore seeks to hire services of qualified individuals for the following positions:

Position: Technical Trainer/Supervisor 

The skills training Technical Trainer/Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operations and providing technical support to vocational training instructors.


The job requirements for the Technical Trainer/Supervisor profile are as follows:

  • The individual should have a minimum of a Diploma in Technical Education, Engineering or related field.
  • He/she should have proven experience in training of and supervision of youth in various vocational trades
  • He/she must have knowledge on how to sustain and develop already existing skills among young people.
  • Those with knowledge and experience in marketing and youth enterprise development will have an added advantage.
