Who we are
We’re Population Services International (PSI), the world’s leading non-profit social marketing organization. There are over 9,000 “PSI’ers” around the world and it is a motivated group of entrepreneurs and professionals with a diverse range of backgrounds and unique skills.
With support from the government of Malawi and international donors such as USAID, KfW, DFID and Unicef, PSI has worked in Malawi for over 22 years, Since 1994, we have implemented social marketing and social franchising programs with behavior change communication to deliver prevention and treatment products and services across a wide range of health areas including Family Planning and Reproductive Health, HIV/AIDS, malaria and child survival, and water-borne diseases. The program is a top DALY (disability-adjusted life years) and CYP (couple years of protection) performer for PSI with over 820,000 DALYS and over 300,000 CYPs annually and an annual budget of over $15 million.
