Job Description

We have been retained by our client Roads Fund Administration to carry out an executive search for suitably qualifying persons to fill the various positions which are tenable within the organization and as detailed below. Position: Senior Toll Gate Clerk / Toll Gate Shift Supervisor

No. of positions: 4

Duty Station: Dedza



Position purpose

Reporting to the Toll Gate Supervisor, the position will be responsible for managing all activities related to tolling
operations at the Toll Gate. The position will also manage and coordinate traffic incidents and monitor status of electronic toll equipment. The position will also be responsible for preparing reports.


Key duties and responsibilities

• Supervises toll gate shift operations;
• Actively monitors all toll operations functions throughout the assigned shift;
• Provides the highest level of customer service and professionalism at all times.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities

• Basic knowledge of collection practices and procedures (i.e. cash and electronic collection operations);
• Available to work on shifts;
• Excellent computer skills;
• Effective oral and written communication skills;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Proven organizational skills;
• High level of integrity with no criminal record.

Qualification and Experience

• Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, Banking, Marketing or related field;
• Three (3) years’ experience.
