Job Description

United General Insurance Company is a dynamic and leading short term insurer providing a wide range of short term insurance solutions to clients. We are looking for suitable candidates to fill the vacant positions of SENIOR CLAIMS & RECOVERIES OFFICER AND RECEPTIONIST.

Position: SENIOR CLAIMS AND RECOVERIES OFFICER

The Senior Claims & Recoveries Officer will be responsible for processing of recoveries from re-insurers, other insurance companies and third parties.


 
This job requires a numerically competent person with good knowledge of the insurance business.

The candidate is therefore expected to possess the following:

  • A minimum of a Diploma in Insurance (CII Dip.)
  • A good MSCE with credit passes in Mathematics and English.
  • 3 years’ experience in a relevant field.
  • Good negotiation skills.

Reinsurance technical accounting knowledge
