Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons of Malawi origin to fill the following vacant positions tenable in the company.


Position: SECRETARY – GRADE EG 8 (4 positions)



The vacant positions are based at Nkula, Tedzani and Head Office


Person Specifications

  • MSCE Holder with credit in English
  • Full Secretarial Certificate including – Advanced Typing of 50 words per minute – 120 words per minute shorthand
  • Excellent organizing and communication skills
  • Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Between 30 to 45 years of age
  • Minimum five years’ experience in serving Senior Management Office
  • Those in possession of Secretarial Management or Diploma in Secretarial studies or its equivalent shall have an added advantage


Job Specifications

  • Provision of secretarial and clerical duties
  • Timely processing of official documents
  • Office management and administration
  • Maintaining an efficient electronic and manual filing system
  • Attending to visitors and diary appointments for the Power Station
  • Managers, Human Resources Manager and Deputy Director of Finance.
  • Any other relevant duties as assigned from time to time
