VACANCY: RESOURCE MOBILISATION OFFICER
Organisation: Malawi Environmental Endowment Trust (MEET)
Duty Station: Blantyre, Malawi
The mission of the Malawi Environmental Endowment Trust (MEET) is to mobilize, manage and disburse financial resources to support actions that yield positive conservation results and contribute to sustainable development.
In order to achieve this, MEET manages a grant facility that awards grants to various partners to facilitate the implementation of projects that address challenges within the environmental and natural resource management sector.
In 2019, the Board approved MEET’s 2019 – 2023 Strategic Plan and Resource Mobilisation Strategy. A key pillar of the Strategic Plan is the need to catalyse, broaden and diversify MEET’s funding base in order to upscale the level of investment required to make meaningful impact on natural resource and climate change issues. MEET is therefore seeking to recruit an exceptional, experienced and dynamic individual for the position of Resource Mobilisation Officer.
Under the direction of MEET’s Coordinator, the Resource Mobilisation Officer will oversee and support
implementation of MEET’s Resource Mobilisation Strategy in order to achieve MEET’s Strategic and Resource Mobilization objectives.
