Job Description

Continental Trading Limited (CTL), is a Malawian trading company, and urgently seeks to fill the following positions which are all tenable at its head office in Lilongwe.

Position title: Receptionist

Job summary

Reporting to the Administration officer, the receptionist will be responsible for;

  • Welcoming and directing visitors at the office
  • Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area remains presentable
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Taking minutes during minutes and writing reports
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock


  • Minimum of diploma or degree in any related field
  • Experience in front office operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, and emails and hands on experience with office equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Females aged between 25-35
