African Parks (AP) is a not-for-profit organization that secures a mandate to conserve through Public-Private Partnerships with Governments and communities for the rehabilitation and long-term management of protected areas in Africa, and here in Malawi, AP has secured this mandate for the management of Majete Wildlife Reserve, Nkhotakota ildlrfe Reserve, Liwonde National Park and Mangochi Forest Reserve In the pursuit to fulfil its objectives, African Parks Majete is implementing a community livelihoods improvement project that aims to empower local communities around the Protected Area. The aim is to increase honey production and sale whilst ensuring communities derive direct tangible benefits from wildlife management. The project is implemented in collaboration with Honey with Heart Limited.
In order to successfully carry out the project Honey with Heart plans to engage a Project officer on a full time basis. The Project Officer will be responsible for the following.
