The Trust is seeking a Project Coordinator for our partnership with Welthungerhilfe (WHH) under the SkillUp! project, which is being implemented in Lilongwe District in Malawi. The SkillUp! Project is a component of a global skills development programme (funded by BMZ) in 8 countries including Afghanistan, Kenya, Uganda, India, Sierra Leone, Tajikistan, Nepal and Malawi. The position is district-based in the North West of Lilongwe.
Responsible to: The Country Manager
The Project Coordinator will lead the implementation of the Malawi SkillUp! project, track results, coordinate project partners and stakeholders and report to the Trust’s Country Manager. This role includes partner facilitation, efficient and timely implementation of the project, budget planning and monitoring, whilst ensuring the success of the project, as per MEAL (monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning) framework and the project’s log-frame. The role will contribute to further development and expansion of the country programme.

Remuneration: The salary and allowances will be appropriate to your experience and within our funding levels.
Contract: 6 months’ probation period and, if completed successfully, followed thereafter by a fixed term contract anticipated to be for an additional 12 months’ but depending on the duration of the project (also subject to ongoing funding and the Trust’s needs and priorities).
