The Bantwana Initiative of World Education Inc. (WEI/Bantwana) seeks a qualified Economic Strengthening Program Officer for the USAID funded Ana Patsologo Activity (APA), a project aimed at preventing new HIV infections and reducing the vulnerability of orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) and adolescent girls and young women (AGYW). WEI/Bantwana is a leader in OVC programming and organizational capacity development in high HIV prevalence countries in southern and eastern Africa.
Job SummaryThe Program Officer - Economic Strengthening (POES) supports the implementation of the household economic strengthening (HES) aspects of Ana Patsogolo in 8 districts in the Southern Region of Malawi. The role is critical in the translation of OVC and DREAMS program household economic strengthening plans into activities, outputs, outcomes that ensure adolescent girls and young women and their families are thriving and resilient.
