POSITION: MOTOR REWINDER
DUTIES
Assembling and testing electric motor and generator stators, armatures, or rotors: Inspecting cores for defects and aligning laminations, using hammer and drift.
Cutting, stripping, and bending wire leads at ends of coils, using pliers and wire scrapers.
Testing windings for motor-housing clearance, grounds, and short circuits, using clearance gauge, growler, spring-steel blade, telephone receiver, insulation tester, and resistance bridge.
QUALIFICATIONS;
Must have Grade 2 National Trade Test Certificate or Tevet Certifiacte coupled with not less than 3 years in Motor Rewinding.
