Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is a UK based International humanitarian and development organization working in 35 countries. Islamic Relief Malawi is looking for competent candidates to fill the following position;


Position: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Coordinator [Blantyre based]


Key Responsibilities &Accountabilities

• Design and implement MEAL strategy/framework/plan and reporting templates of projects/programs;
• Develop and guide to administer necessary tools for MEAL activities across projects of IR Malawi
• Ensure program reporting standards and timely submission of reports to donors;
• Develop a database system for storing program/project data of entire organization.
• Build capacity of MEAL and project staffs on monitoring and evaluation, accountability and learning
• Support in preparation of budget for MEAL activities
• Lead knowledge management activities of IR Malawi
• Lead planning and effective implementation Complaint Response Mechanism of IR Malawi.

Qualification &Experience

• University Degree in Social Science, Development Studies, Public Health, Social Work or Environment Science or Monitoring and Evaluation.
• At least 3 years’ experience in monitoring, evaluation, learning and accountability in development projects in NGO/INGOs or multi donor agencies.
• Technical skills in planning, evaluation and research and the ability to engage in capacity building on these areas.
