Marketing & Customer Service Manager

Job Description

Lafarge, Malawi’s leading cement Company, invites applications from suitably qualified, highly motivated team players and results driven candidates for consideration to fill the position Marketing & Customer Service Manager tenable at its Plant in Blantyre. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of Marketing 4 Communications.


Position: Marketing & Customer Service Manager


JOB PURPOSE


The job purpose is ‘In drive the implementation of the marketing and customer service and ensure effective brand visibility.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


The key to responsibilities include:

  • Developing and leading the execution of the company marketing plan
  • Leading the execution of the customer service strategy
  • Facilitating corporate communications with external and internal stakeholders Landing customer related digital initiative, developed by the business
  • Ensuring adherence the company pricing policy
  • Developing and managing a market intelligence system that ensures key market trends are identified and acted upon by the business


PERFORMANCE CRITERIA

  • Market share target achievement
  • Sales volume target achievement
  • Marketing budget management
  • Improved brand health scores
  • Improved customer engagement scores
  • Customer digital adoption rates
  • Adherence to health and safety guidelines


REQUIRED SKILLS/PROFILE


QUALIFICATION BACKGROUND
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or any business related degree
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in marketing rule
  • Experience with digital marketing campaigns and initiatives will be an added advantage

TECHNICAL SKILLS
  • Computer literacy
  • Budgeting skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Social media engagement and digital marketing skills
  • Problem solving methods and tools


BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS

  • Precision and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, both oral written
  • Good aptitude for field work
  • Ability to make decisions and prioritise actions
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
