Beit CURE International Hospital (BCIH) is a Christian mission hospital providing free orthopedic health care for children in Beit CURE International Hospital Malawi is a teaching hospital that specializes in treating the orthopedic needs of children and adults. The hospital runs as a Christian charity and margins made on adult health care help in providing free care to the needy children of Malawi. The adult orthopedic service covers mostly the common orthopedic conditions such as arthroscopy, total hip & knee replacement and fracture fixation. The BCIH champions the cause of children and families burdened with physically disabling conditions that can be corrected or alleviated through surgical interventions.

The integral mission for BCIH is -Healing the sick and proclaiming the Kingdom of God` The BCIH in Malawi, situated along Chipatala Avenue-off Cannery Corner in Blantyre, is planning to resume some of its operations and services that it had suspended is seeking the services of well qualified and competent individuals to fill the following vacant position

M & E OFFICER (REF: BCIH/21 /01)

PURPOSE: The Job Holder will provide technical support on data collection methods, data analysis, data quality assurance and result-based management S/he will also ensure quality data collected is entered into a data platform, data analysis ts completed and will play a key role in submission of M&E report. Ile/She will also ensure understanding and compliance with M&E procedures and provide guidance and coaching to staff

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE;

•  Bachelors Degree in public health or other field relevant to Data Management or Monitoring and Evaluation those with Diploma plus more years of experience in a health setting may also be considered
•  Minimum 4 years field experience in protect monitoring and evaluation,
•  At least 4 years’ experience developing M&E capacity and systems in an international NGO,
•  Practical experience in data analysts software and health data collection and management tools

•  Excellent analytical, writing and verbal communication skills
•  Ability to work in a team and good interpersonal skills.
•  Good computer applications skills.
•  Good organizational skills
•  Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
•  Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines,
