Background
Ladder to Learning (L2L) is a grassroots organization working to amplify the learning experience of public primary school students through educational programs that complement the core curriculum in Malawi. L2L is committed to working with school administrators, parents, teachers, volunteers and other members of host school communities in ensuring that students are literate, well-resourced and achieving their academic goals
We set up Literacy Hubs where we run educational programs aimed at improving students’ literacy skills and performance outcomes.
L2L seeks to recruit a volunteer Literacy Hub Assistant that will provide support in our various Literacy Hubs.
Job Purpose
The Literacy Hub Assistant is a one year commitment with the primary responsibility of supervising and managing literacy hubs at one of Ladder to Learnings partner schools. He /She will be committed to accountability and transparency. The assistant will be committed to our mission and have a creative and educative attitude to contribute to the work we do at Ladder to Learning. The assistant should possess a demonstrated passion towards education, youth leadership, accountability and transparency. He/ she will report directly to the Literacy Hub Manager.
