Job Description

Illovo Sugar (Malawi) plc – Dwangwa Estate, situated 60 Kilometres north of Nkhotakota District invites applications from suitably qualified applicants to fill the above position in the Human Resources Division.

 

Position: LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Business/HR/Organizational Psychology or equivalent
  • 3-5 years’ experience at a similar level.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing learning needs analysis by gathering, documenting and collating information.
  • Developing training plan and provides monthly updates against the plan and budget.
  • Facilitating meaningful analysis of learning investment by analysing training data, identifying trends and making recommendations on actions required.
  • Designing and conducting competence assessments to determine achievement of required competence.
  • Preparing and updating of training materials and with the design and delivery of learning solutions
