The Information and Technology (IT) intern will be responsible for the maintenance of hardware, software and other systems. S/he may also participate in the development of new desktops, servers or applications. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with senior leadership.
The IT intern will provide direct technical assistance and support to Wala staff for network, hardware and software issues. The ideal candidate should be able to do a wide range of installation and maintenance activities related to computers and other office electronic equipment. The IT intern will gain hands-on experience and training in many aspects of IT, while also gaining a good understanding of a local social enterprise.

The successful candidate will be expected to start work immediately and will be required to make a commitment to work 30-40 hours per week for twelve (12) months.
