Post: Investment Promotion Officer (Grade I)


Salary: Within the Grade I salary scale segment

Location: Ministry of Industry and Trade


Qualifications

  • Applicants should be in possession of a bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Economics, Marketing, Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness obtained from accredited institutions.


Duties

  • Prepare groundwork relating to the investment and private sector development related policies;
  • Maintain data-base on investment in Malawi;
  • Assist in data collection for the review of the business environment in Malawi;
  • Act as desk officer for investment promotion agencies and business advisory institutions, etc.


Note

Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be needed during interviews. Serving officers will also he requited to demonstrate during the interviews that they are permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of appointment (PSR 19).
