General Description of Programme:
GOAL has been working in southern Malawi since 2002 and currently has a presence in three districts (Nsanje, Chikwawa and Machinga). GOAL’s global objective is to promote resilient well-being by: helping people to survive crisis; promoting optimal and resilient health; promoting food and nutrition security, and; supporting people to have sustainable livelihoods. GOAL maintains close working relationships with district authorities and relevant line ministries.
General Description of the Role.
The HR officer will be responsible for providing support to the Senior HR officer and to other department heads in GOAL Malawi. The job will involve most aspects of HR including areas such as contracts writing and managing staff issues with the assistance of Senior HR Officer. This position calls good HR knowledge, and strong organisational skills. The incumbent must have good management, interpersonal and organisational skill and the ability to report accurately.
