CRS Malawi, a country programme, established in 1997, administers a large-scale integrated rehabilitation and development program. This integrated program supports our partners, including indigenous organizations, and Commissions within the Catholic Church. The program activities focus on protecting livelihoods; enhancing peace-building advocacy and solidarity; improving access to potable water; mitigating the impact of HIV/AIDS, improving nutritional status of women and children and building effective partnerships.
Primary responsibilities of the Finance Intern (Quality Assurance), is to ensure good stewardship of agency resources and the integrity of financial management systems in the CRS/Malawi Country Program that they are according to accepted standards, agency and donor policies and regulations, and local laws. The Intern (Treasury and Payables) works closely with the Finance Manager, Deputy Finance Managers, Accountants, Assistant Accountant, and other CRS/Malawi staff to ensure timely disbursement of funds to CRS/Malawi’s Partners and suppliers.
