Hope Ministries International (HOMI) is a non profit, non governmental organisation, community driven, established to bring equal hope to the hopeless and underprivileged in their rural communities of all three regions of Malawi through promotion of equal opportunities in socia-economic empowerment, education, primary health care, advocacy, relief, Agriculture and Climate Change.
HOMI, is inviting internship applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the positions of Field Officers for the Agriculture/Forest project.
There are four (4) internship positions available in Lilongwe (Malingunde), Chitipa (Lufita), Dowa ( Nalunga) and Zomba (Chikowi-6miles) and candidates should be from these mentioned areas except for Lilongwe who are preferred to be from around Likuni or any close location.
The internship program is for 10 – 12 months.
Candidates should have a Diploma in agriculture or Natural resources Management preferably from the Natural Resources College (NRC) or Diploma in Community development or Certificate in Forestry
Excellent Communication skills for both spoken and written
Ability to write projects reports on weekly and monthly bases
Ability to work under minimum supervision and able to work with communities in remote areas.
Those with Motorbike licence will have an advantage especially for Lilongwe/Malingunde post.
