Early Childhood Development Teachers

Job Description

New Beginnings Malawi is a local organization in Lilongwe that supports expectant girls, young mothers and adolescent girls in difficult and abusive situations. As a growing organization, we are looking for passionate individuals who understand what it means to work with a startup and are willing to support the growth of the organization.

Applicants MUST not be more than 35 years old for all positions.


Position: EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT TEACHERS (FEMALES only)


Requirements
  • Passionate about nurturing and developing the knowledge, abilities and social skills of children below 5 years of age. 
  • Responsible for creating a stimulating, caring, inclusive, safe, and clean learning environment for the children of our young mothers. 
  • Responsible for planning, preparing, and implementing a good quality, play-based, developmentally appropriate curriculum to foster physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of the children.
  • Must have a minimum of an Advanced Diploma in ECD, possess skills in MS Word and Excel and have at least 18 months experience working with children under 5 from disadvantaged families.
