A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a health related field is a must.
A minimum of four years’ work experience in OVC program planning, implementation and monitoring/evaluation especially in the context of HIV/AIDS preferred.
Experience in supporting economic strengthening interventions for improved livelihoods of OVC households will be an added advantage.
Excellent analytical, writing and verbal communication skills particularly assisting OVC grantees to improve their filing and reporting key
Familiarity with Ministry of Health, Gender, Labour, Social Development and USAID/PEPFAR and OVC programming policies and regulations
Strong technical knowledge and skills in OVC programming is required
Candidate must be familiar with the trends in national OVC program including guidelines, standards of practice and best practices
Candidate should be familiar with cultural issues around HIV response in Malawi
Candidates must have the ability to use a computer and Microsoft word, excel, outlook
