Partners in Hope (PIH) is a Malawian NGO based in Lilongwe. In addition to operating a general clinic, inpatient ward and HIV/AIDS clinic, the program unit provides support to Ministry of Health and CHAM health facilities in eight districts from Chitipa to Nsanje. Teams are working to meet the 95-95-95 targets for HIV testing, retention in care and viral load suppression through training, mentorship, supervision and health systems strengthening.
Partners in Hope – under the Care and Treatment Grant is seeking to recruit highly motivated individuals for the following position:
Position: CLINICAL MENTORS (FACILITY BASED CLINICAL OFFICERS)
PLACES: Karonga, Chitipa, Nkhotakota, Kasungu, Dowa, Lilongwe, Chikwawa and Nsanje
The Clinical Mentor (Facility Based Clinical Officer) provides direct patient care and is licensed to perform general medical duties such as diagnosis and treatment of disease, ordering and interpreting medical tests, performing routine medical procedures and referring patients to senior medical practitioners when necessary. The Clinical Mentor is also responsible for building capacity through mentorship of facility based staff on HIV/TB care in order to meet the 95-95-95 Malawi treatment targets.
