Job Description

Minet Malawi Limited invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above vacancy tenable at our Lilongwe Office (Employee Benefits Unit).



Position: Client Manager (Employee Benefits)




This post currently reports to Head of Business Unit and will be expected to make significant contributions in the delivery of quality services to our clients.



The suitable candidate must have the following attributes:

  • As a minimum, possession of first degree from local university accredited by National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) or reputable foreign university.
  • A Diploma in Insurance obtained from The Chartered Insurance Institute, or an equivalent insurance examining body.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills.
  • A minimum of three years post qualification experience in employee benefits management or broking.
  • Computer literate especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience in handling a team would be an added advantage.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Underwriting of employee benefit arrangements.
  • Processing claims
  • Debit and collect premium.
  • Service client’s portfolio
  • Attend to enquiries from customers.
  • Deal with incoming correspondence promptly
  • Undertake any other work as delegated by superiors.


Salary payable is negotiable commensurate with one’s qualifications and experience.
