Project HOPE is non-profit international organization with an international team of over 500 engaged employees in 30 countries. Our mission is to make positive impact on the global health challenges facing people around the world. Working in collaboration with local governments, other nongovernmental organizations and communities, we are committed to long-term sustainable health care. Our work includes training health professionals and community health workers, strengthening health systems, fighting diseases such as TB, HIV/AIDS and other NCDs, and providing humanitarian assistance through donated medicines, medical supplies and volunteer medical help.
The One Community program is funded by PEPFAR, through USAID Malawi. It is a program being implemented in Malawi by a consortium led by Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (CCP) and its sub-partners Project HOPE and PLAN International. The purpose of the One Community activity is to improve the lives and care of people living with HIV, particularly CLHIV and their primary care givers and other OVC. It is providing care and support, impact mitigation and prevention services In a single integrated response at the community level.
Project HOPE is looking for well qualified and experienced candidates for position of Child Health Officer tenable at Machinga district offices.
The position is on short-term contract of up to September 2020.
