Telekom Networks Malawi Plc seeks high caliber individuals to join its Executive Management team on the following position:
Position: Chief Executive Officer
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) reports to the Board of Directors. The position is responsible for developing business strategies and plans and ensuring their alignment with company objectives. The role will require liaison with the company’s regulators and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The incumbent must maintain a strong company image, identify growth opportunities and deliver on strategic plans.
Desired qualifications, experience, qualities and competencies
Extensive and diverse leadership experience in telecommunications, ICT or related industries with a proven track record of consistent high-performance
Experience in developing profitable strategies and plans, and their implementation
Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles
Familiarity with the ICT industry and technology trends
In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practice
Strategic leadership and direction of similar sized organizations within Malawi or in the region
Excellent communication and public speaking skills
Relevant first degree
Over 10 years of experience in senior management / executive positions
