One Step Foundation is a Charity organization that works with the children, families and communities to reduce the number of children going to the streets. Our mission is to eradicate all street connected children in the street and economically empower their families living in total poverty so that they can have access to essential needs.
One Step Foundation is inviting applications from dedicated professional volunteers to fill the vacant positions existing in the organization.
Position: Assistant Media & Communication Officer (2 posts) (Lilongwe & Blantyre)
Reporting to: Public relations Officer
Responsibilities
Ensure development of high quality content and dissemination of internal and external monthly newsletters.
Provide editorial support to web-content development.
Support in identifying and developing effective messages, framing and means for delivering them to reach communication objectives.
Support in developing communications products such as PowerPoint’s, fact sheets and other relevant material.
Support in managing the organizations media platforms
Ensure that communications activities calendar is kept up to date in consultation with the Senior Media and Communications Officer
Any other duties assigned
Qualifications
Diploma in Communications and any other related qualifications obtained from a recognized and accredited institution. along with an MSCE.
Skills
Ability to establish and maintain excellent work relations in a team
Ability to handle concurrent activities, prioritize work and work well
Strong verbal and written communication
