Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants to fill the vacant position of Administrative Officer (LC8) existing in the Law Commission (The Commission).


Position: Administrative Officer (LC8)


Reporting to the Principal Administrative Officer, the Administrative Officer shall assist in all administrative functions of the Commission.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

A Bachelor of Arts (Public Administration or Human Resource Management) obtained from a recognized institution,

Principal duties include

  •  General superintendent of Office Management;
  •  Provide administrative services to the Commission;
  •  Monitor and maintain effective Management Systems and Office Procedures;
  • Assist in preparation of the Commission’s Budget;
  •  Assist in preparation of Project Proposals;
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports on all administrative matters;
  •  Facilitating procurement of office requirements; and
  •  Supervision of drivers and other subordinates.

SALARY: Competitive salary will be offered in line with the Law Commission Staff Terms and Conditions of Service.
