Position Summary
MSF is recruiting qualified candidates for the role of Interviewers to support a health survey at the household level in Blantyre and Chiradzulu.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct structured, health-related interviews with targeted individuals.
• Accurately apply survey protocols to ensure systematic and confidential data collection.
• Clearly explain the purpose of the survey and answer questions from participants.
• Ensure accurate recording of results and compliance with MSF procedures.
• Perform other duties as needed to ensure the success of the survey.

Requirements
Education:
• Diploma or Degree in Health Promotion, Education, Social Work, Public Health, Sociology, Anthropology, or related field.
Experience:
• Experience conducting household-level health interviews.
• Experience in community engagement or health promotion.
• Field research experience is an asset.
• Prior work with NGOs in the health sector; MSF experience is an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies:
• Proficient in using tablets for data collection (mandatory).
• Familiarity with GPS devices is an asset.
• Available for the full duration of the survey, including training and weekend work.
• Strong planning, monitoring, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and flexible.
• Unbiased and open-minded toward survey outcomes.
Languages:
• Proficient in both English and Chichewa (spoken and written).
