Key responsibilities

Technician shall be responsible for installation and maintenance of security systems duties that include but are not limited to:

·        Domestic and Industrial electronic security systems installation.

·        Installation of intruder alarm systems.

·        Repair/Maintenance of electronic security systems.

·        Fault diagnosis and maintenance of various components of electronic security systems.

·        Installation of electric fences and any other technological /electronical components.

·        Installation of CCTV cameras.

·        Installation of fire alarms.

·        Installation of access control units.

·        Installation of panic button along with related repair and maintenance.

·        Responsible for taking care of all the technical materials requested for a particular assignment until the work is done.

Competencies

·        General knowledge of security system installations.

·        Ability to write, read and speak clearly, succinctly and correctly in English.

·        Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, MS Project.

·        Ability to work and interact within teams.

·        Appreciation of the need to work beyond the call of duty if necessary.

Education and Experience

·        General knowledge in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications.

·        Any past experience in security system installation, configuration and testing shall be an added advantage.
